Dress: River Island Bag: Accessorize (both old) Shoes: Dune
A Levels are over, summer has begun and I am officially very inconsistent with updating my blog at a time where I no longer have any excuses as to why I haven't been updating it...
Styling outfits in summer doesn't exactly come naturally to me so I rely on outfits, such as this, that are simple and effective, yet ultimately easy to assemble and the kind of outfit (as much as I hate to admit it) I usually end up recycling quite a lot (oops).
Admittedly, there isn't much to this outfit. Having owned this dress for what feels like many summers now, I feel like it's one of those dresses that I will find very hard to part with and it will always remain a staple in my summer wardrobe.
It could be worn with a trench coat slung over the shoulder or perhaps a nice cream blazer to match the lace detailing on the front. I believe it could be a nice option for a summer party or other formal occasions, yet it could alternatively be worn on holiday with a nice pair of sandals if you wanted to dress the look down a little.
I have previously styled this look with a statement necklace but I don't believe it is necessary, merely a way to change up the outfit depending on your preference or occasion.
Thank you to my friend Claudia for helping me with the photos.
Thank you very much for reading my latest post. I do hope you enjoyed it :)
Love,
Natalie xo
