Cape: Zara Dress: H&M Boots: Dorothy Perkins Bag: Primark (all old)
There's not many months of the year I can get away with wearing my cape so when I can, I try to incorporate it into as many looks as possible. How I have styled it here is probably one of my favourite ways. It's quite a daring item but I have always loved how effortless they look. When I finally got my own, I was thrilled to finally have one in my wardrobe.
Having bought it when I went to New York last October, the cape has quickly become a staple piece in my winter wardrobe. It is a real statement piece so it is perfect for those of us who want to look smart and put together without having to go to so much effort. I paired it with an emerald green, long sleeved dress; you can't really see it that well in the pictures, however, I like the added detail the lacy green sleeves give. I finished the look off with my favourite black bag and a pair of knee high boots. You could pair it with ankle boots instead depending on your preference - I just personally prefer how the knee high boots compliment this look.
I hope that everyone is as excited as I am for Christmas. It's not long now!!
Thank you to my friends Claudia and Fran for helping me with the photos.
Thank you for reading,
